Sophia Rückriegel and Kilian Rückriegel are social and environmental activists, authors, and entrepreneurs residing in Brooklyn, New York. They have spearheaded and supported multiple social action initiatives in collaboration with local and national organizations serving communities of color in the United States. Sophia has participated in global service programs to support marine life conservation and health care service provision in Central and South America, while Kilian has participated in global service programs in Panama in support of environmental conservation. Both are nationals of the United States and Germany with a strong interest in learning languages and bridging cross-cultural understanding. They have received recognition for their advocacy work, been featured in the media, and invited to speak to youth in the United States and abroad about social activism.
